The Accountant is responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

This role also involves coordination with the procurement team to manage vendor payments, prepare purchase-related documentation, and follow up on procurement processes.

Responsibilities

Accounting & Financial Management:

• Record, classify, and summarize financial transactions in compliance with accepted accounting principles.

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.

• Reconcile bank statements and maintain accurate financial records.

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely settlements.

• Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting.

• Support audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.

Procurement-Related Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with the procurement team to verify supplier invoices, purchase orders, and delivery notes.

• Prepare, review, and process vendor payments in accordance with company policies.

• Track purchase requests and follow up on pending approvals and deliveries.

• Assist in negotiating payment terms and maintaining updated supplier records.

• Ensure compliance with internal procurement procedures and financial regulations.

Compliance & Reporting:

• Ensure adherence to local tax regulations and support VAT filing and related documentation.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial policies, procedures, and legal requirements.

• Prepare ad-hoc financial reports for management as required.

Qualifications & Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.

  • 2–4 years of experience in accounting; experience in procurement-related finance is a plus.

  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., ERP systems) and MS Excel.

  • Knowledge of financial regulations and taxation in Saudi Arabia.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and high attention to detail. Salary & Benefits.
