About HAKA
Basic Function
The Field safety supervisor is in charge to supervise the field execution of the work in compliance with the construction safety standards and weekly construction plan. The field safety supervisor/inspector will be report to Field Supervisor Lead of the Area and will liaise as well to Construction Management of the Package.
The field supervisor will work under Amiral Program and Safety Procedures at Jubail Area, close to SATORP refinery. The project and conditions is composed of high density of works, simultaneous activities, high numer of construction equipment, a significant percentage of work in undeground and above ground.
Duties and Responsibilities
- To carry out 2 safety visits per day as per Amiral safety visit program and enter report in integrated System
- To conduct daily random construction equipment inspections
- To conduct daily random construction equipment inspections
- To check on daily basis that the site safety requirement are in place, barricades, inspection tags, etc..
- To carry out full time field supervision at ground/at height.
- Promote and exhibit safety leadership and commitment.
- To act promptly toward unsafe acts and conditions.
- Develop and maintain safety initiatives including off the job safety across the company and promote a sustainable robust safety culture supported by personal behavior
- Coordinate and participate in HSE incident reporting, classification, investigations and lesson learn including follow up of recommendations.
- Support the Safety Superintendent in the development, update and analysis of safety goals, objectives and KPIs.
- Participate in the development, planning and implementation of safety training and awareness programs for employees and contractors.
- Support in implementing Contractor Safety Management as per AMIRAL Safety requirements (example; Safety Plans, Training programs, Qualification, Hazard Identification Plans (HIPs), etc…).
- Participate in emergency drills and exercises.
- Support and guide Process Safety Management and application in AMIRAL through policies, procedures and safety advisors.
Requirements
- Five (5) to Ten (10) years of experience in Safety/ Operation in a Refining or petrochemical facility.
- Strong command of oral and written English.
- Good knowledge of process safety management.
- Good knowledge of Safety management system development and implementation.
- Good knowledge of Safety behaviour improvement.
- Good knowledge of Incident/injury prevention.
- Ability to continuously drive for process improvement.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills.
- Good leadership skills.
