Function

This role will work under the supervision of “Planning Executive” and oversee and optimize engineering maintenance programs, workforce planning, reporting, material management, performance monitoring, and process documentation to ensure operational efficiency, compliance, and continuous improvement.

Job Scope

Manage and execute engineering maintenance operations, resource planning, performance monitoring, and process optimization to ensure compliance, efficiency, and alignment with business objectives.

Duties

- Plan and execute a comprehensive engineering maintenance program using EAMS, ensuring compliance with OEM guidelines and company standards.

- Schedule shifts, manage manpower, and optimize overtime to ensure efficient workforce utilization for maintenance activities.

- Create and maintain structured weekly and monthly reports using Microsoft Excel, EAM, and relevant tools for data retrieval and decision-making.

- Plan, monitor, and control engineering budgets and expenditures while implementing cost-reduction initiatives to enhance profitability.

- Manage and optimize engineering store inventories using EAM software, ensuring accurate tracking of spares,tools, and fuel.

- Oversee material handling, fuel management, and documentation while maintaining compliance with safety and HSD standards.

- Generate reports, coordinate with engineering teams, and support operations with cost-effective inventory and emergency solutions.

- Develop and document maintenance workflows in EAMS, ensuring accurate record-keeping for audits and compliance.

- Forecast, verify, and manage spare parts requirements in coordination with relevant departments to minimize downtime and enhance productivity.

- Monitor and report engineering performance to regional and head offices, aligning terminal expenses with budgetary guidelines.

- Maintain and archive technical documentation to ensure accessibility for engineering teams and compliance audits.

- Establish a failure analysis system in EAMS to optimize equipment performance, reduce waste, and improve overall productivity.

- Identify and resolve system inefficiencies independently or with the CMMS support team, managing preventive maintenance and quality functions.

- Achieve key performance metrics, including equipment availability, Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF), and Mean Time to Repair (MTTR).

- Continuously propose strategies for equipment optimization, cost-effective solutions, and resource efficiency to maximize durability and performance.

Minimum Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in technical discipline or Equivalent.

- Minimum 5 years of related work experience; must have Port / maintenance Industry Experience.

- Professional training specialized in MS Office MS Excel, Power BI.

- Experienced with SAP, EAM, Store management.

- Good communication skills and understanding of written & spoken English Language.

- Excellent communication skills in spoken and written English Language, Multilingual: multiple language skills are preferable.

Preferred Training and Certificates

- CMMS Administrator Training.

- Certified Maintenance Planner/scheduler.

- Advance Microsoft Excel and Power BI (preferred).

- Document control.
