Job description
The Sales Representative will be significantly contributing to ensure that the Data & Digital business line is meeting its sales goals. S/he will prepare, conduct and follow up on sales pitches and build a successful partnership network of companies in KSA. S/he will contribute to the team-sales performance, while maintaining good team health and carefully balancing key sales responsibilities to allow for sufficient time spent. S/he will also identify new partnerships, negotiate, and onboard them as ecosystem partners. S/he will drive the overall growth strategy of the B2B development—from partner onboarding to market analysis and introducing new offerings. The Sales Representative will be a strategic thinker and self-starter who is focused on creating solutions and solving business problems with a consultative sales approach.
Responsibilities
Drive and manage the entire sales cycle and strategy plan through inception, implementation, and launch, establishing strong relationships with internal stakeholders, customer executives, and the sales agency
Prepare, conduct, and close end-to-end sales pitches with leads generated from the marketing department and outbound efforts across various customer segments
Gain a deep understanding of partner goals, strategy, and areas of synergy to develop mutually beneficial strategies
Collaborate with product, go-to-market, and engagement teams on developing and executing marketing plans, and prepare presentations and related client-facing documents, often newly developed and tailored to the partnership
Build account plans for prioritized named accounts – identifying outsourcing opportunities, emerging client needs, existing competitors (with a comparative view on strengths and weaknesses), and upcoming RFPs
Analyze business results and competitive performance, and develop or recommend strategies to meet or exceed financial targets
Plan for and attend both domestic and international industry events, trade shows, local meetups, and conferences, while building a social media presence to represent the organization
Domain Expertise
2-4 years of experience in business development; increasing client bases, client acquisition, sales pitches, relationship management, proposal creation, and sales follow-up
Relevant experience in B2B sales within a high-paced and fast-moving environment
Consistent history of meeting revenue goals and exceeding customer retention targets
Executive presence and ability to work with digital teams to gain a "seat at the table"
Knowledge of how to derive actionable customer insights based on conducted sales pitches
Able to work in a performance-driven organization and lead and steer an internal/external sales force
Preferably experienced in working within B2B technical/software products and a reasonable knowledge of products value
Build meaningful and flexible reports and derivate best next action out of it
Identify customer needs/pain-points and align product features to help drive Sales and mutually beneficial outcomes
Analyze business/Sales performance vs competitors and make recommendations on direction
Ability to work across broader digital teams to align on go-to-market and execute on strategies and client approaches in new/unique areas
Passionate about Sales, Sales development and knows how to leverage social media
Very good written and spoken Arabic & English skills
Passionate about developing Sales, Sales strategies and helping customers achieve their performance objectives
Relationship centric, understand value of creating networks throughout the customer to help guide decision making, improve understanding and increase communication cadence
Comfortable in a Sales driven environment and balances bottom line demands with customer care and relationship management
