Provide professional safety advice and promote safety culture in accordance with Safety Management System (SMS), policies, and procedures. Identify and evaluate potential safety risks and apply methods to eliminate, mitigate, or manage these risks. Maintain and conduct scheduled safety inspections and track HSE recommendations from audits/inspections/incident investigations. Participate in incidents investigation, analysis of findings, and communication of lessons learned. Support in the implementation of safety events, campaigns, awareness, and training programs.
Act as a focal point for support and monitoring of operating organizations in the implementation of Safety Management System, Policies, and Procedures ensuring compliance and continual improvement.
Description
1. Provides support to Departments on the implementation of SMS.
2. Exhibit safety leadership and promote safety culture.
3. Understand Process Safety Management (PSM) elements and their application.
4. Represent Safety Division in Assigned Area as a business team member.
5. Educate employees and contractors about safety policies, procedures, and programs.
6. Participate in the development of safety policies, procedures, and programs.
7. Participate and support in Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Incidents reporting, classification, investigation, and lessons learned.
8. Facilitate and participate in the implementation of the Safety Award and Recognition (SAR), Quarterly Safety Inspection (QSI), Emergency Response Drill (ERD), and Management Safety Walkthrough (MSW) in the assigned area.
9. Support in the review of Pre-Incident Plans.
10. Administrate HSE recommendations upload and follow-up.
11. Contribute to the development, implementation, and communication of Safety events, campaigns, awareness, training, and the distribution of safety materials.
12. Participate actively in Off-The-Job Safety program implementation.
13. Participate in Division and Assigned Area Monthly Safety meetings.
14. Participate in Pre-Start-Up Safety Review (PSSR).
15. Supports Internal Auditors for SMS Element and Department Audits.
16. Deliver Safety Mandatory Training Sessions.
17. Participate in the review of Method of Statement and Job Safety Analysis (JSA) for high-risk activities.
18. Conduct daily and monthly compliance review of Work Permit System including JSA implementation at assigned area (Field/Desk).
19. Monitor the implementation of Behavior Observation Program (BOP) in assigned area.
20. Review Management of Change (MOC) requests as a business team member.
21. Analyze safety key performance indicators (KPI) and statistics of the assigned area such as (HSE Accidents, Near miss, BOP, Unsafe situation, Recommendations, SAR, QSI, ERD, MSW, etc…) and support to achieve goals.
22. Mentoring and coaching of newly assigned safety advisors.
23. Support HSE coordinators from other departments.
Requirements
- High Diploma Degree or higher.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in oil and gas industry.
