Job Responsibilities:

Candidate will be responsible for all Material planning and procurement activities for Haw Gas Storage Projects and will include but not limited to:

• Work directly with line supervisory personnel in assigned Department and with appropriate Materials Supply personnel to resolve immediate and short-term materials acquisition problems.
• Train line personnel in utilizing MSO systems and procedures to prevent shortages of materials through incorrect identification, specification or requisitioning by the users.
• Visit operating facilities regularly to obtain current information and to provide on-site materials support to operating/maintenance personnel.
• Consult manufacturer and vendor representatives regarding parts requirements for equipment, parts interchangeability, impending design changes, catalogue changes and equipment diagrams for ease in parts identification.
• Assist Materials Advisor I in reviewing parts lists/operating supplies for new equipment installed in existing facilities, usage patterns, direct charge requisitions, and other data.
• Review direct charge orders to ensure acceptable substitutions from current inventory are considered and that specifications are complete and accurate.
• Provide a centralized control in the Department/Division for DC requisitions;
• Assist Divisions in the preparation of materials portion of annual budgets.

Minimum Qualification & Experience:

-B.S. Degree in Materials Management, Business Administration or Industrial Engineering.

-Five years’ experience in Materials Management with a minimum of two years in Plant Operations/Maintenance.
