Requirements:
-
-Proven work experience as a Driver or relevant role.
-Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
-Good knowledge of traffic laws, safety regulations, and city routes.
-Ability to operate a range of vehicles ( such as Sedan, SUVs, Van, Minibus).
-Excellent driving skills and the ability to navigate unknown routes fluently.
-Excellent customer service skills.
-Good verbal and written communication skills.
-Attention to detail and ability to work independently and under pressure.
-Excellent time-management skills.
-Flexibility in working hours - the ability to work during weekends and evenings.
-Physical fitness to lift heavy goods when necessary.
-Transport clients and/or packages to and from destinations.
-Arrive at destinations on schedule.
-Fulfill administrative needs, like office pickups.
-Research and plan for traffic, construction and weather delays.
-Use navigation applications to determine the best route.
-Interact with clients professionally at all times.
-Ensure that the vehicle is always fueled and ready for use.
-Arrange for vehicle repairs as needed.
-Keep mileage records and repair records up-to-date.
-Schedule fleet maintenance and repairs.
-Work with external vendors, including mechanics.
-Maintain inventory of spare parts and tires.
-Monitor fuel levels.
-Maintain a database of truck and driver information.
-Assist with vehicle purchases and replacements.
-Assist with process improvement.
-Ensure compliance with (Ministry of Transportation) regulations.
